I discovered a passion for teaching mathematics whilst still in high school, over 40 years ago. What started as a side job helping friends, classmates, and neighbors with their homework and exam prep, turned into a career as I completed my PhD in Mathematics at Moscow State University. I spent my post-graduate decade giving lectures, organizing math Olympiads, and mentoring students for national and international contests. After immigrating to Canada 15 years ago, I transitioned to teaching different courses such as statistics, linear algebra, calculus, math analysis, financial math, discrete math and basic math as a sessional lecturer at various colleges and universities in Ontario.
